The Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) organises a conference day in order to present the three integration guides for refugees produced within UNINTEGRA project. The event will take place at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the USC the 29th November.
As a result of the work carried out in workpackage 2 of UNINTEGRA project, the following integration guides have been produced: Guide for integrating refugees in the European educational system, Guide for integrating refugees in the European hosting communities and Guide for integrating refugees in the European labour market
The conference to be held in the Faculty of Education Sciences of the USC and hosting the participation of the research staff involved in the preparation of these guides, as well as members of the social community, in particular NGO’s providing support to migrant population, will look in more depth at the knowledge of the issues concerned. Education and training addressed to refugees, conditions of the labour market integration and general difficulties and challenges faced by the refuge community in their integration processes will be dealt with in this event, aiming at enhancing the involvement of social, labour, and academic stakeholders in presenting solutions and improvement proposals to the problems raised. The event is open to the participation of all members of the social and academic community at local and regional level.
